"Hello!," to my one and only skirt. Yes! You read me correctly. This is the only skirt I own (not ever - currently).Every time I add a skirt to my closet, I wear it once or twice and straight to Goodwill or Poshmark it goes. The occurrence of high summer temperatures in May calls for desperate measures. So here I am again, at the crossroads of, "Khira learns to wear a skirt" and "Khira remains in high waist jeans until her death," and miraculously I chose the road less traveled. We'll see how far along I get until I have my Big Fish moment, realize the wrong path was taken, and run back to my beloveds - my jeans.

Either way, as summer starts cooking up, my best advice for finding cute, breathable summer pieces is, as always thrift, thrift, thrift. Linen is your best friend! Polyester and silk are your enemies! If you are not a fan of thrifting, there's always Poshmark or Etsy. Then there's Zara. I've also noticed they are using less and less polyester blend fibers and more cotton and viscose. Which is a huge plus, one sustainable star for Zara. As always stick to brands that love to take care of our planet: Reifhaus, Reformation, Two Fold Clothing, and so so many others!

For my birthday, I'm treating myself to a steamer.
I always forget to iron my clothes. Is this yet another Millennial faux pas?

No, it's not RBF. I am entirely fed up with anything and everything when it's ⬆︎ 75℉.

p.s. I wholeheartedly dislike summer, but I love have an even, glistening skintone.
You win some, you lose some.....
