Make Way for the Ballistic Working Woman

Fashion Month is over but you can't deny that it will still take some of us a few more weeks to filter through all our favorite shows. Almost every designer was screaming "independent working woman" in their own way. It wasn't always with a suit or blazer, but when it was the results were interesting, creative, and empowering. I loved how Céline, Balenciaga, and Stella McCartney did a play on button and closure placement. Stella McCartney definitely caught my attention with her double breasted, triple buttoned suit jackets. I for sure need to invest in one for my next "big girl" interview.

Whether it was a traditional representation of the working women or tackled with a twist, we can all agree it was all over the runway from New York to Paris. We can also agree that a "Working Woman" is not just some #girlboss in a corporate environment but also a stay-at-home mom, model, artist, activist or any and every woman out there working her ass off fighting the patriarchy one accomplishment at a time!
